Since the Academy's inception in 1990, we have provided various performance opportunities for our dancers through professional showcases in different theatres across the region and internationally. We aspire for our dancers to employ their skills at a different platform and gain invaluable experience on stage for the overall success of our dancers.

Soul of Dance
The ‘Soul of Dance’ is the biannual grand dance production hosted by the Cindy Yang Dance Academy. Since our inception in 1990, we have presented 15 SOD performances, creating precious memories in every iteration. Soul of Dance showcases the most spectacular rendition of Chinese ethnic minority and modern dance. The Academy’s timeless vision of valuing diversity is first and foremost presented in the dances performed. Each dance captures the unique culture of one of the 56 Chinese ethnic minorities and each performer not only portrays the dance characteristics of an ethnic minority but also seeks to reconstruct that culture’s spirit and essence.

Dance Forever
‘Dance Forever’ is a biannual dance performance hosted by the Cindy Yang Dance Academy of Canada, with different themes highlighted in each iteration. In past iterations, the production has been themed on our adult dancers, Grade 1-7 students, and solo, duo, and trio dancers. The 2023 Dance Forever — Dancing in Youth hosted on November 25, 2023, featured a series of ‘Little Star Dancers’ comprised of rising talents at our Academy.
